Cosper’s Country Meat Market has been a staple of the community by providing high-quality meats with the utmost care in customer service. In 2022, Ty and Sarah Taggart purchased Cosper’s with the idea of offering the same old-time meat market experience with a few modern twists. The market itself is largely unchanged since Cosper’s opened its doors in 1983, which new owner Ty Taggart says is intended.  “We want customers who have been coming here for years to feel at home as they always have. We also want new customers to feel what it’s like to take a step back in time where service and quality are the driver behind of our daily mission to make the experience of shopping at Cosper’s one that folks will want to have again and again!”

Cosper’s offers a wide range of products from traditional cuts of beef, pork, poultry, and seafood to an everchanging list of specialty sausages, appetizer items, custom spices, and don’t forget, mouthwatering plates of made-to-order food that will keep you coming back for more! These plates include fresh-from-the-meat-counter hamburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, fried catfish, and Tex-Mex dishes with a heavy hint of tried and true Texas BBQ, which Ty learned to make while growing up in Bell County, cooking for friends and family.
